Special teams improved as the year progressed.

We started 7-0 and our 3 loses were not due to special team performance.

So are you guys complaining about our wins with poor special team play or our loses with poor offense and defense play.

Today we find out Harris was nicked up a bit during the Bama game and we did have some other injuries along the way. Injuries are part of the game and our tight end and full back out for the season along with a few linemen being banged up could have been the difference in the Arkansas and Ole Miss games. We lose to Bama no excuses and this year Bama is just a better team.

So how do special team play affect our end of the season record??

He actually coached LBs/ST/and obviously is a stud recruiter. I'll cut him some slack. ST can be more of a focus with ARANDA directing the LBs. JMO

He doesn't have all the talent in the world, though. Linebackers are very important on special teams, but we have 0 depth there.

Definitely the worst Special teams, which has been pretty good under Miles, but damn it was so bad this year. Don't know if it was Peveto, the players they picked, or just lack of emphasis, but it was bad in every phase, except for the field goal unit was serviceable.

Not this current season that ended, but the previous season... and he was the special teams coach in 2006-2007 as well I believe.

He also stands with CLM to assist him in making tactical decisions like clock management.

Been trying to tell people this for a couple weeks. He's valuable to the program, just not very good coaching ST.

Lol. You have lost your mind.

LSU got a delay of game on a kickoff for God's sakes. How often does that happen?
Let's hear this brilliant excuse.

ST doesn't have to "cost" LSU the game in order for you to admit they played like shite and contributed to the 3-loss season.

It kinda sounds like you're sayig our special teams sucked but they didn't cost us a game, so it's ok to keep BDP?

His ST unit also was much improved to end the year

He wasn't in charge of ST for A&M and I assume he wasn't for the bowl game either
