Schilling does not have Nazi memorabilia. And what freaking difference would that make
Yes, he does. And he’s provided his rationale for collecting it. And it turns people off-including, it would seem, some of the hof voters

My grandfather was in WW2 and was in Europe during the end of the war. We have cherished family photos of him in France and other places taking down Nazi flags.
He and his fellow soldiers that fought in the Battle of the Bulge, brought home many items they took from the enemy upon capture.
Based on this logic, my grandfather should have been canceled before his death. History is history, and collecting it doesn't make you a damn Nazi.
If I owned a sword that was used by Ghengis Khan, would that make me a genocidal maniac?
You people have completely lost the plot in your gotcha attempts. It is sad.

I don't really agree with the analogy. If Burrow had some type of injury that he was at risk of re-aggravating and it potentially had career-impacting consequences, then I would say don't play even in the NC. If it is just a regular game with the accompanying risk of injury that is always there anyway (which is how I read you question) then of course he should play.
If it is really just a question of feeling tired or recognizing when something doesn't feel right, then I would agree. But isn't the risk that something may not be easily recognized and could have long-term detrimental consequences just from pitching on abnormal rest/recovery? Maybe that is wrong and, if so (like if it is just a matter of having so shut down for a few extra weeks, for example) then I would agree.

I respect Skenes’ and Johnson’s choices, whatever they are.

Who is ‘you people’? And where did I say cancel Kurt Schilling? You people overreact so strongly to anyone you view as attacking someone with your same political beliefs, that you’ve lost the power of comprehension
