Oh, so it was their plan to allow single coverage by what was a really bad FCS D the year before to lock down their 2 best WRs? They may have played vanilla for 2-3 quarters, but I guarantee they didn’t plan on being completely one dimensional. If they can’t pose a consistent passing threat vs an Aranda defense, they have little chance to win other than through turnovers, mistakes, or special teams plays. That’s the bottom line.
