I didn'r post in this one, but here's what I said in another...
quote:
Here's what you duckies don't understand... When the tiger players are feeling it, we are a team of bad-arse muthers that just destroy people. We've been waiting 4 years for our players to feel it, but it hasn't been there and it has been terribly frustrating for us fans. Now, we can see that they've got their mojo, and we're all pumped. Your ducks don't have anything that can stand up to sheer will. After this game you are going to look back at the MNCG and think Auburn was a bunch of pussies. It's going to get ugly. I hope you don't suffer too many injuries.
quote:
I am flat out telling you that your ducks are going to get trashed. It doesn't matter that your ducks are as talented as the tigers. It doesn't matter that you've worked hard. It doesn't matter how badly your team wants to win. We are still going to trash you. By the end of the game you are going to think a voodoo priest in New Orleans cursed you because everything will seem to go our way. Your team is going to be so demoralized that they will take a week or two to recover. At least you'll get an early TD because someone is going to be too pumped and get out of position. After that it will be a beat down. You have no Earthly idea what's coming. Just don't get down on your team. You guys are good. It's just going to be a bad day for you.

How y'all gonna score 31 points? Just going to bull Oregon's D-Line and eat clock? You know Oregon is coming after the run. You're going to have to throw that ball...

think there's a prediction somewhere in those 20+ pages that I thought we would win a close low scoring game.
I predicted 27-23 or so for LSU

Yeah, I loved this quote the best. That's the kid that fumbled twice in the third quarter.

Hats off to the LSU fan who predicted LSU would win by 17+ points. Can't remember where I read it, I think it was page 5.

Well DocBug I think your logic was working well, and you could improve your credibility by reducing the vitriol. But I understand. We are a bunch of men sitting around just talking (and often drinking or angry) in plain language. So please don't think I think less of you.
I did not predict the size of the victory because of the great unknown at the time: Lee. I don't have the knowledge or logical ability to compete with Las Vegas odds makers (as you might have) except on a win/lose basis; but I am on record as having predicted the victory based on logic.

You think your interior run defense in the first game of the season will be better than last year's replacing Nevis, Pep, and Sheppard? I, mean, seriously you think that? I guess it's possible but is it realistic?

I said this:
quote:
You remind me of every other OOC poster who regaled us with tales of the greatness of their team for weeks/months ad nauseum.
Believe it or not we even had an Oregon State guy who was here every day for maybe six months;he was funnier than you.
Then they got their beat-down.
Then they came back and said "you were right".
Relax little Duckie. This is LSU, you have to feel the pain to fully comprehend.
