The Ducks are totally Quacked...

I am leaving Fort Dix at 0500 (Eastern) tomorrow, and flying home at the end of another wild 2 weeks courtesy of the United States Army.
While here in lovely central New Jersey, I have experienced an earthquake AND a really, really, really timid "hurricane". My students included a die hard Bama fan (a Chaplain, at that), who currently lives and works in California, and a Lousiana native stuck in the pacific northwest (Washington state) - both of whom are expecting a big win by the LSU Fighting Tigers.
All of these omens point to 1 thing - the Ducks are Quacked...

What were you doing at Dix? ILE? I am stationed there.
Have to agree, Irene was a yawner.

I've had thunderstorms, in New Jersey, that were worse.

Have a great time in Dallas cheering on our Tigers. I am jealous. I will be watching from my home in Fayetteville/Fort Bragg.

I'm going home to watch, not Dallas.

My iPhone thinks it's in Charlotte. One of my teaching partners is going back to Charlotte and one of my students is going back to Fort Bragg.
Weird.
