vulgarity or doing things that are a tad over the line doesn't really bother me much. It's part of the college sports atmosphere.....but at least try to be creative with it. "frick you" is the best you can come up with?

So your sample size is two?

UK was a great game and I dont think anything went down like the OU game

Not sure what you mean here.

Someone said that it was impossible to get a clean crowd and a loud crowd in the same place. I pointed out that it IS possible...I have been to games at Rupp (and they didn't involve LSU, not that that is relevant) and that place got very loud and not one vulgar chant was heard. It CAN happen.

First of all, the rest of the country does look down on the state. Second, I would bet you any sum of money that chanting obscenities and throwing bottles at a basketball game did not improve the perception.

Also not what I said. But you're the genius that thinks students should be banned for trivial shite, so I don't expect you to be the least bit rational.

Would you want your five kid to hear FU Buddy. I would hope not. To throw things at the team that just won the game, scream overated, and FU Buddy, didn't quite work out for us on Saturday. I was there and it seemed to motivate Buddy and the rest of the over rated team. As usual we were second fiddle with a bunch of punk spoiled rotten occupy wall streeters, that embarrassed the university on national TV

being a student does not give you the right to do anything you want, but people need to chill out. Get over yourselves.

Hopefully the students had a good time. Hopefully they come back. Over time, i would think that they would become true fans, and not just there to be obnoxious.

No, I just demand excellence from our fans. We shouldn't settle for fans like you.

I was just reading a thread on a Sooner board that called LSU fans vermin and the absolute worst fans in college sports.

The stupidity in this statement is comical.

Put your kid in a bubble. Only way to protect the delicate flower from all the bad things in the world.

Sure I do. You defend throwing objects at game and chanting the F word at opposing players. We demand a higher state of excellence.

I'd love a link to me defending either of those things.

I never said it wasnt impossible, so your response is misguided.

It CAN happen.

I just said it did for our UK game. I was simply saying it can happen here. If you only went to that game then you could say the same about UK fans and LSU fans.

I am sure other fan bases have had these issues before. We had one game this year out of 2 large crowds that they did something stupid.

It's equally ridiculous to expect a student section to give one shite, much less two, about any children that might be at the games.

It'd be like taking your kid to Bourbon St and being surprised when they hear and see inappropriate things. If you can't handle explaining to your kids that they may hear and see things they shouldn't emulate, maybe you should just leave the kids home.

From your post above. We shouldn't settle for fans like you. We need to demand a higher state of excellence.

Saying they don't care what you think doesn't mean I defend it. Try again.

I'll take drunk students cussing and being rowdy vs the island of misfit toys only taking up 2 rows.

all that really needs to be said on this topic. The atmosphere looked awesome on TV.
