He is DEFINITELY saying "clock it".
You don't need for form an "L" to say he was "down".

I just really can't tell, but it looks like the first word is "clock." That could be because I have this bias in my head expecting him to say, "clock it."

It looked like he might have been saying clock it, but that video really can't give us a definitive answer.
As for asking the cop for a timeout, he obviously didn't mean to ask a cop, but still that was bad.
I think Jefferson must have said something about a timeout, and then Miles tried to turn and ask someone if they had a timeout. And he should know if they had a timeout or not.

Well to me he says _______ it three times. It looks he's mouthing a "C" but I'm being honest here I'm not sure. It's definitely _______ it and not he's down.

Y'all can do this song and dance all you want. The screw up was the failure to call time out when there were 30 seconds on the clock.

Geauxgrl, we know. This whole clock it thing is just another one of Miles' blunders to add insult to injury. I was wondering why the hell we weren't calling a time out before that hail mary. Ugh, what a nightmare.

Everybody at work laughs at my LSU degrees. Now our football cred is challenged. That was really all I had going. Miles burned it. I lack office cred now.
