but if we are in need of a coach in a few years, do you think they would consider talking with saban...

i know he is getting plenty of money at bama and the buyout would be brutal, but would they consider him?

Honestly, why would he leave Alabama? He would never put himself through the same thing again. He is there to stay deal with it. There are plenty of other coaches.

i hate living in the past... but i miss the days of hearing logical excuses for why we lost, and having players chewed out for not having their shoes tied... it was discipline

if we don't try, we should fire our entire administration. heck, make him tell us no 25 times. It worked out for Bama.

Crucify me too, but I'd make a run for him.

Let the man make full circle of selling programs out and come back home where he started it all.

Bama waited on the tarmac until he said yes.

LSU screwed the pooch on Butch Davis. They let him tell us no. We should have camped out at his house with 4 million dollars in a briefcase until his panic attacks subsided.

Its good to see honesty on here. If this thread had been posted before this week they might have taken your IP Address tracked you down and literally hurt you. I agree he's the best in the business, if you like defensive football.

spurrier said that south carolina was his final stop...

i like LSU and only want to win... i dont care who is coach, if miles turns it around next year and gets us back to winning with style, then i dont mind him being the coach... i just find it hard to believe a coach will fix something he hasnt fixed all year.

FWIW, Saban wanted to come back to LSU last year when there were rumblings of Miles leaving for UM.

You can brush that off as some wild rumor, but I can assure you it is a solid fact.

It's not a rumor. I was told this from someone close to Jordy.
