To all of the haters who want O to fail and get fired, you need to realize what needs to happen for your wishes to come true.

For the next two years (2018 & 2019) our football team needs to be piss poor as in 6 wins or less. It also means over the next two years our recruiting classes need to be below average or out of the top 20. That has to happen for Orgeron to get fired, no doubt about it. It will take at least two miserable years to run O out of Baton Rouge.

But it's more than that. A new head coach gets hired in 2020 with a bare cupboard because 2018 & 2019 seasons were so poor it killed recruiting. So our new head coach won't have his players in place until 2021 and they'll
be for the most part freshman. It will take at least 1 year for our 2021 freshman to mature and look forward to 2022 which will be mostly a sophomore team. O haters will be begging for an 8 or 9 win season.

O haters are you prepared for 4 miserable years of LSU Football? I want Orgeron to succeed because I don't want to go back to the Curley Hallman era.

That’s bullshite.

Miles was fired without ever losing fewer than 8 games, and every year his recruiting classes were better than this one.

WTF makes you think Orgeron, a career losing HC, gets more leash than a national championship head coach?

At this point, it’s inevitable whether we want him to fail or not.

I keep seeing the O supporters referencing "haters" wanting the team to lose, but rarely have i seen anyone say they WANT the team to lose. They expect the team to lose. Your question could be turned around. Are YOU prepared for 4 miserable years of LSU football if he does fail miserably? Which one is more likely judging by his track record?

Me either! Most of the snot-nosed posters have NO idea what that was like. It took the better part of a decade to recover and then back down the tubes except for a couple of good Dinardo years.

every single thing about his hire made it clear that he had a VERY short leash.

people, everywhere, were very leery, but if he could prove the doubters wrong, awesome, good for him, everyone wins.

but if we go from signing 8 of the top 100 commits to 3, from a record of 9 and 4 to a record of 7 and 6, frick you.

bye.

this was the deal, you knew it, we knew it, you were given everything you needed. if youre not winning, thats on you.

miles may not have had a class ranked this low, but a lot of his classes ended up piss poor, due to attrition and failure to meet team needs.

he had some bad classes.

It's truly amazing watching people trying to defend O.

Nobody WANTS him to fail. Some are just concerned, to the point of certainty, that it's inevitable.

History is on their side.

Nobody wants failure and nobody wants to prepare for it, but it will happen because LSU has a frick up for a coach.

another Orgeron fan club member who doesn’t get it...at all. If you don’t want to go back to the Curley Hallman era then you need to hope this shite gets fixed before its allowed to fall that far. The lazy hiring, cronyism, good old boy way of thinking that we’re seeing now is exactly how it was back then. We can’t count on another Saban to come along who can fix it all. Get rid of Orgeron now.
