Would their wins be vacated or forfeited?

if anything i hope they hurry the investigation up and suspend him and then auburn would most likely lose to both Georgia and Bama.

Not saying we will win out all the way to the BCSCG but hey I'm down.

Id say vacated on games before the investigation's outcome

This will probably be like the Reggie Bush USC deal and take years to resolve. By then this season will be a faint memory.

I think the NCAA learned their lesson. This has a Heisman hopeful and National Championship implications. It will be dealt with quickly IMO

Espn put forde, low, and schlabach on the same story and article, it isn't just a rumor

Exactly. This one has legs.

1) For some reason, I thought the wins for the team which is in trouble are wiped out but the losses for the teams they beat weren't. Did all the teams USC beat while Reggie Bush was there get an extra win?

2) John Bond. Isn't he the guy that used to kick our asses when he was at Mississippi State?

My thoughts precisely. NO way the NCAA lets the kid win a heisman and possibly play for a NC if this has happened. My opinion: we'll get a resolution before the end of the regular season.

This is different. All the Bush stuff came AFTER he left USC. This is WHILE Newton is playing for a NC and a heisman. Big difference in my opinion.

The NCAA could suspend him for the year just for asking for money from Miss St:

His eligibility against Chatanooga is irrelevant. But does he play against Georgia and Alabama?

This has SERIOUS implications.

Hmmm no, so far the only FACT is that Miss ST put 180 K down. the rest is allegations. Even if they didn't get him, that is a violation.

According the ESPN report, there may have been other schools offering money, apparently bidding for Newton's services. Could this story get bigger than any of us would like it to? Is it possible LSU could be implicated also?
