I get what you are saying about Raymond, he was still recruiting the area.
Jackson fwiw, coached at Tulane and ULM, he spent the last 3 years, 2 at Wisconsin and 1 with SF. He would have had to re establish contacts no doubt, but I would guess he at least has some here.

Looks like Nebraska is dipping back into the LSU well to replace Raymond. Rumor has it that we're hiring Terry Joseph, currently the DB coach/Recruiting Coordinator at Tennessee, and formerly a Grad Asst. at LSU under Pelini.
Joseph is the cousin of former Husker QB Mickey Joseph.
