If worst case happens move it to New Orleans. Flights and hotels are there to accommodate a large number of visiting fans, pro stadium is there empty to play in, close to Houston. Good venue for a prime time night game. Seems like the best choice to me after Houston.

If emphasis is on playing game next Saturday, my guess is a decision will be made on Monday. If game needs to be played in Houston, either next Saturday or on another date, the decision makers can probably wait until Wednesday. Selfishly, I want to watch LSU play next Saturday. Regardless, hope Texas does well.

Well, a flood eemergency was just issued in Houston. So, there must be SOME flooding occurring there. Hope it doesn't get as bad as forecasted.

I've only passed along what I see during this whole thing. I'm not making in declarations about what will or won't happen. Impossible to know until we see how long the storm lingers near Houston and how much rain it dumps.

This is the second flood emergency ever issued by the nws for Houston. It's not "just a little rain".

I mean I will because the game will be played there but thanks for your concern. Really don't want to spend it in Baton Rouge.
