So are they not goint to paint the concrete on the outside of the south endzone? If not, it doesn't look complete.

So are you calling me a lady, yet admitting you are too weak or timid to voice your opinion in real life to people you really know that have a say-so?

I'm far from a coward. Far from an architect too.

I have to be honest, I think some of you people are just blind homers that say "yes it's GREAT AND THE BEST" simply because it's LSU.

I legitimately feel sorry for you.

As in "I pity you because you are a miserable frick."

The expansion is a gem and the 2-3 extremely minor issues can be easily worked out to appease spoiled little cunts like you. So, please, go back to beating your dog and try not to derail any more threads if at all possible

This is what I've been harping on for weeks now. The mixture of stucco and bare concrete looks horrible.

Does anybody know if the big white wall was a cost saving measure by not installing windows? Certainly has LSU written all over it.

Can you say if it will happen this year?

Pardon my ignorance, but the gymnastics facility is going to be similar to what was built for hoops, right? Practice areas, locker rooms, etc.?

I'm not miserable at all, I just refuse to "toe the line" and say it looks good if I disagree.

I haven't complained about it once this offseason. Now that we are a few weeks away, I will criticize it.

I honestly just don't know the answer to the question. I'm not with the architectual firm.

The BigEd melt is pretty classic... I don't like the wall either, but Im not gonna act like the expansion is shite cause a wall that they will likely do something to at some point in the next 2-3 years...

Might as well go all out, no point in half-assing it.

I think the last time I got upset on here may have been the lc thread a few years back.

Nope, I got real mad at the Arkansas guys when they dropped mcbride last year too

I appreciate the response, but how hard is it for LSU to just throw some paint on it now while it's still under construction? It's hard to believe that LSU is going to debut the expansion with half of it bare concrete & the other half painted arches.

So you are one of those "symmetry for symmetry sake only" type of guys. Good thing you are not an Architect. Imagine the boring shite this country would have for buildings across the nation.

In the original renderings of the expansion, the TAF building had an all glass exterior. At some point during the construction, the plans changed. Was it to cut costs, was it a safety issue, or what? It just boggles to mind to think that LSU plans to leave it looking that way, but perhaps they do. Hell, there are concrete structures on the top that resemble FEMA trailers.

If by "classic" you mean "pathetic" then yeah.

Common sense has told me all along that the building was still a work in progress and not complete, but like others I also would like to know when the final touches will be put on the "white wall".... By kickoff 2014 or later?

We need to start stationing "Crows" at the top of the wall to keep the white walkers like this guy away:
