I started going to Pastime in the mid-80s around the age of 8 before LSU games, always getting the Pep pizza. My dad would walk in and seemed to know everyone. We wouldn't stay long as there were more important (tailgating) places to go.

I went a few times when I was at LSU and try to make it as an adult when I can. It's nothing 'special' but brings back a lot of memories. I really like their pizza and am even fine with only having Pep as a topping (whereas other places, I feel like many other toppings are required).

Also, it was a great meeting spot before games for everyone getting off I-10 and enough parking to leave your car there and cram into someone else's much bigger truck/SUV.

Pastime is great, IMO, but I haven't been able to figure out how to get there with the closures at I-10 without spending over an hour in the contraflow downtown. For those of you saying it's easy to get to, please post the route you use to get there from campus, now with the construction going on.

So what's the quickest way to get there in the contraflow post-game? Also, what's the fastest way to get on I-10 west post game? The west-ramp was closed at HWY 30, and the downtown traffic was awful 9-17.
