everyone has 2+ losses in the west?
what sec team goes to the playoff then? do they account our blowout loss to auburn?
it seems to be a long shot the the possibility is realistic

MSU and Auburn would need 3 losses for us to be ranked in the SEC over them, right? They each own the tie breaker over us since they beat us.

Numerically possible yes. State would have to lose to auburn, bama and ole miss. Auburn would have to lose to ole miss, a&m and bama. Ole miss has to lose a game other than LSU. And of course we would have to win out. Is it likely? Of course not.

In my opinion, if I had to pick a year for the program to be down, this would be it. I would absolutely hate to have a veteran team and maybe take three losses in the SEC and miss the playoffs because of the meatgrinder that the SEC west is this season. Four straight number one recruiting classes and bama could still lose three or more games in the west this season. Let that sink in for a minute.

I am guilty of being positive about Miles in pretty much every situation. But, there is zero chance we win out. Beating Kentucky will be a feat.
