i didn't complain. i said he had quit the team twice, which he did. there was friction with miles

Friction? Because Miles expected him to report in in shape? Are you fricking kidding me?

You called "Saban's RBs" Fat & Slow, Vincent, Broussard & Carey when Vincent was seen chugging beer almosty nightly in year 2 under Saban. Then you tried to blame Tommy Moffitt for thier weight problems...only when Miles arrived.

ETA: I screwed up on the above post about Bama's Black QB history. My mistake.

Why didn't they hire CROOM???

look saban has nothing to do with what bama used to do or their traditions from any time period before 2007

secondly, croom was a horrible coach

lastly, the bear was ahead of the times in terms of using black players in the SEC (thanks to USC)

why would you even bring that up?

That must the term some use for LSU winning the SEC title game while UGA could do little more than watch the game on their home TV sets.

we were in line to play for the SEC title game and were behind UGA

in 2006 we were ahead of Arky, who played for the SEC title, before the SEC title game

and sammich deosn't believe winning the SEC is a big deal anyway. he thinks the 2006 season was better than the 2001 season

And people seem to forget that most of us were predicting 3 losses before the season began.

I am glad we are 9-3 (better than what it could have been without Miles' luck). But, I am extremely concerned with the way we got to 9-3 and what those games tell me about the future of LSU Football. I see a decline in develoment of recruits, gameday coaching and adjustments, discipline, more talented players not being given a chance to compete on gameday (Shepard, Randle, etc.). It causes concern that these areas will effect recruiting. In addition, we must compete with the Alabamas of the SEC if we intend on playing for championships each year. That means a much more consistent team that plays at a high level the entire year...destroying the teams they should and gutting out the tougher games. THIS IS ELITE PRODUCTION. $4 mill/year to Miles and I don't see this type of attitude, discipline or consistent performance. Sorry. Flame away, morons !!!

miles was the best coach in the COUNTRY in 2005 to wear a madonna headset on the sidlines of a game

Yeah the hell with technology right? Just wear the standard Bigasss headphones. Also the only coach in the country to lose a CITY in his state, with medical people in his practice facilities & his players helping others.

Saban didn't wear the Bigass Headphones. It would mess up his $300 hair.

9-3 with a super easy schedule outside of 2 games (we lost both) = amazing year

Hey homeboy, how many ranked SEC teams did Alabama beat this year? I mean is sup easy, and everybody could just ROLL TIDE over the SEC huh?Oh..I've seen this movie before, Bama dodges Florida until the SECCG, then loses to them & blown the frick out by a random team to be named later - like powerhouse UTAH.

True, but so what?

We won the SEC title game and Ga sat at home watching the game on TV. That's why we jumped them...we played, we won on a pretty big stage, and we jumped them.

The Ga case was closed and there was nothing magical bout it. imo

You mean guys like OL-Peter Dyakowski & DT- Charles Alexander? Well, you said they were "Saban's Recruits" so guess you'll have to ask Sabear.
