You are calling the bag of hammers that routinely botches basic game management decisions a "great" coach. I could understand you thinking he is a good coach, but a great coach? Really. Les Miles is a great coach?

what does that matter

if LSU wasn't as good as UGA before mizzou and WV lost, what about mizzou and WV losing makes LSU better?

Higher than UGA. And beat them head to head. You really can't be arguing this, can you?

And voters have never in the history of the BCS adjusted their ballots before 2007?

Because we won. I'm done with you. You are just looking for buttons to push.

ETA: We won our conference is what I was saying.

because USC bitches about it, doesnt mean our title is "contested"

If some pakistani peasant boy "contests" our 2007 title, it doesn't make it contested. We won the BCS NCG in both years, therefore it isn't contested

OVerall, he is a very good coach. During 2005, which is the subject to which the discussion pertains, yes, he was a great coach. Elite. The best in the country.

None of those players were on the LSU roster at the time of Garrett's recruitment

????

Get real. He knew of Shepard's commitment. They were in the same recruiting class. Lee and JJ were already on the roster. He came in as #4 on the depth chart and is willing to earn his way up. Based upon what I have seen this year, I say he has a good chance to play next year.

pretty sure they had as much to say in 2007, as did UGA

Yeah, thank goodness the BCS wasn't listening to all that BS.

of course

you get put in a box and run away

typical rantard

the pollsters knew UGA had no shot of winning its conference at that point

LSU had no shot of playing for the SEC in 2006 and we were ranked ahead of Arky before the SECCG

We jumped Virginia Tech because we beat them head-to-head
We jumped Georgia because a team that can't win their division doesn't deserve to play for the national championship

I can't recall who the third team was.
