Congrats Angel Reese! Chicago Sky traded up (from Minnesota) get #7 1st round pick Angel.

To get Angel, Chicago gave up 2025 2nd round pick and 2026 1st round pick to Minnesota. So Cardoso and Angel will play together at Chicago. Cardoso said at the draft---no one is going to take rebounds away from Angel and me.
The head coach for Chicago used to play PG at LA Tech when Kim Mulkey was the Assistant Coach. It looked like some of LSU's coaching staff was there at the draft to support Angel.

She will actually be making more money in the WNBA. All her NIL deals will follow her there plus she’ll be making her salary as well.
