KJ is leaving unless they really lay it on him to stay. The kid has his career planned out for life after football.

I've seen it stated here that he doesn't plan on a pro football career, and wants to move directly on to his career path. Was it in law enforcement of some kind? If so, if he graduates early, playing football would just be a matter of choice, not necessity for him.

I would like to give a shout out of encouragement to Malichi Dupree.

Please stay in college one more year. It will help you in the long run and you cannot replace the memories of your senior year of college.

I agree. I think another year wouldn't hurt him. Guess we'll know soon enough.

All that matters in amateur football anymore is $$$. It was always that way in baseball and basketball, but never seemed to bother me (70 now)...seemed like that's just the way it was.

NCAA football was until recent history the shining example on the hilltop. I know, I know, you don't have to say it to me.

Money talks, pride falls...the end.

Of the guys leaving I think Dupre has the least impact. I think our WR corp will be better next year. We have some gifted young guys who should be hungry.

We're looking at a wide open camp battle to determine who starts along with Chark. Should be fun to watch.
