Gilmore is senior depth next year, never hurts to have guys that know what there doing with years of experience. That being said I think Shelvin or Wilson could possibly start next year , or Ed Alexander .

While much of the attention has been on junior receiver Malachi Dupre's decision, junior receiver D.J. Chark is climbing up NFL team's draft boards, which could spell trouble for the Tigers. One source stated that Chark may be a second round pick at worst, and that he is about 50-50 on whether he will return or not. Another source stated that Chark remains torn on his decision, but he is "hopeful" they can get him to return for one more season.

Like Chark, Dupre recently met with newly hired LSU offensive coordinator Matt Canada to discuss in great detail about his plans on utilizing the dynamic receivers in his offense. We were told that both players were impressed with what they heard from Canada. Dupre has yet to make a decision, according to a source, but it was stated that "Chi never planned to be here for four years." Losing Dupre and Chark to the draft would be a big blow to the Tigers' program.

Junior defensive lineman Davon Godchaux looks like he is strongly considering foregoing his senior campaign, according to multiple sources. Godchaux is believed to be a possible third to fifth round pick, and the LSU staff is pitching him on the idea of returning and improving his stock, but it does not sound like he is biting. Godchaux always had aspirations of getting to the NFL as quickly as he could, so this does not come as much of a surprise.

That's because he has financial responsibilities...and I for one respect that situation...good luck whatever he decides...if he does go NFL, I'd tell Gilmore to lose 5-10 Lbs. and move him to DE if Wilson and Shelvin make it in this class...With Big Ed and those two, plus the big Bama kid, we'll be alright at NT...Herron and Gilmore at DE, with Lawrence and Lac...etal...we'll be fine at DE

Chark could shoot up to the first round after his 2017 season. Just seems too quick for him to jump right now

Personally, I think that Dupree is what he is...would like to see him return and mature and toughen up some for his own good....that's what he needs..jmho

I don't want to rip on him but this just isn't true at all.

The Florida game alone disproves that. He played on roller skates from the Bama game on

Dline depth is no longer a concern, linebacker depth is the only questionable situation.

I know Adams is announcing next week. Anybody know when we could hear from Chark and Dupre?

I don't get the "giddiness" some of you have for players leaving early.

It's like you care more about a kid you've never met or never will meet making a million than you are about the success of LSUs football team.

News flash:
You aren't an NFL scout or an agent.
You are a fan.
So stfu and hope they play another year at LSU to make us a better team.
