Thanks so much to the entire Tiger Family for the many thoughts and prayers, well wishes and condolences and kind words. Ray is my brother, biologically, and his spirit will live on with us forever. Ray Ray2, thank you for initiating this thread. I really does my heart good to see how Ray touched so many people. It is really hard dealing with this loss as we were very close.
Once again "Thanks" from the Russell family.
We will also pray for Demetrius Byrd. I got a chance to meet him last year during the Senior Bowl at my mother's house. We will lift him up.

JaMarcus, your time at LSU will never be forgotten. You were truly the best QB LSU has ever seen and our prayers are with you and your family.

A lot of time we just turn on the radio and take take for granted how much joy a guy like Ray Ray brings to us on a regular basis until they are gone. He will truly be missed. My prayers go out to your family in this tough time.

I thought Menace was his uncle, but he had a couple of uncles, though.

StripedMenace is well but still dealing with this terrible loss, as we all are.

Sorry, I did not realize this was a different thread. I know I missed that weekend, but if you see JaMarcus or his family anytime soon, tell them I am very sorry for their loss, and very proud of JaMarcus and the way he fought for LSU. I look forward to being proud of him representing LSU for many years to come. And (if this is appropriate) I trust that his Uncle Ray-Ray is as proud as he can be. He and the whole family did a wonderful job raising JaMarcus, and I would like to thank them all for sharing their boy with us for a few years!
My thoughts and prayers are still with them all.
