Yes, Divinity did break the rules. But LSU is the only major college program where shite like this happens. The entire compliance department is on a power trip and thinks they get brownie points from the NCAA. Just in the past year they have: drug tested the entire basketball team the day after the huge win over Tennessee, trying to destroy Will Wade and the basketball program all because Bo does not like not having power, they even asked for Tasmin's phone BEFORE he ever was officially allowed to start recruiting, and now this BS drug testing the week before the biggest game of the year. Woodward needs to step up and gut this whole compliance department.

Are we? LSU is only major college football program that I follow particularly closely. Could you fill me in on this?

Right. Because organisations don't have the right to make their own rules that people need to abide by in order to be part of that organisation. It's pretty easy to not smoke. He knew the rules, and chose to break them.

Breaks my heart, but that's life.

You fail to advise exactly what Compliance did wrong in this case to deserve to be "gutted".
Can you answer that question, or should we just ignore your rantings?

YES! Why would we make it harder than all of our opponents to remain eligible. This is ludicrous, I travel a lot in my job and it's common to smell pot while walking on the street in many other states but it will get you kicked off the football team at LSU????
