Paul is a well-documented a-hole. Good coach, but an arse.

I don’t have a problem in PM saying those things. He is challenging them to step up. No different than Bertman saying it was not a players fault for doing something it was his fault for recruiting him.

Was it the same kid he brought in that walked runners against SC this weekend?

Because our current hitting coach is not in the same league as the ones you just referred to. Comparing Beetle to what we have now is a joke.

Exactly. Practice is the time for the coaches to coach the players and the games are for the players to play what they know and I can promise you they know a hell of a lot.

Point is, it’s the players who are screwing up, not Mainieri. If Beck can’t throw strikes in that situation, which he knows he’s the go to guy in those situations, then yes it is on him.

I don’t understand why people get so upset when certain players not making plays are the reasons why we lose and Mainieri says the cold hearted truth and people get all butthurt about it. It’s the spoiled fans we have that just don’t understand baseball. I use to take pride in how knowledgeable our fans are but when we’re not winning, our fans become the dumbest fans in the world

Sean Payton said it best “ When you see a kid misbehaving all the time eventually you start looking at the parents “

In this case PM is the parent of the kids that won’t behave.

This isn’t true in the least. Did they work hard? Yes, but he was not an arse. He expected them to clean up and take care of the park because at that time baseball made no money.

No I'm saying you are ignorant thinking assistants and coaches aren't one in the same

Was it a joke when he was hired? If we went out and hired a high school principal to be our hitting coach what do you think the consensus would be? Sure in hindsight it sounds silly, but people are trying to judge the current coaches on foresight based on their prior experience. What about the other 5-6 coaches I named? You don't have an argument because the overall premise that former players or coaches with no experience shouldn't happen at LSU is a stupid argument to make

Exactly! It's their job to be dicks! You have to motivate these kids to do a job, sometimes you look like a dick doing it. Oh well....

Hey Doc, ya know why he pulled Peterson?
Cuz He wanted him fresh for USCe. Duh, remember, Tulane was a midweek game.

Having no experience is the issue not where the experience came from.

That's all you got? When you can't win an arguement you resort to that?

I've won every argument (notice the correct spelling) with you. Then you change the topic.
