MARK IT DOWN...THE SUN WILL RISE TOMORROW. THE GRASS WILL BE GREEN. THE SKY WILL BE BLUE.

Dude EVERYONE will throw quick slants for the rest of the season. It is a pretty obvious hole to exploit.

BTW: Chavis is in charge of the D.

Mark it down.

It's spelled "Commodores."

John Chavis does and he has been coaching defensive football probably since before you were born. Ooooh...but good thing you are warning him what Vandy is going to do...because I am SURE that Chavis and our defensive staff have no clue they are going to do that or how to stop them. Wow...LSU is so lucky to have you and your VAST football knowledge to save us. Geez....just shut up and try to learn something.

You're defending the coaching staff that just let TJ Yates throw for 400 yards against the defense

Not to mention they gave up 24 points to UNC.

Also, when it was crunch time, chavis defense folded like a cheap tent up until the very end of the game where it needed refs to bail it out.

I'm not worried about our defense. We need sustained drives on offense, even if the end result is just a field goal.

That was Les' favorite phrase all last year: "We'll fix it." I'll believe it when I see it, but I agree that Vandy will most certainly throw that slant off the right side a few times to see if it 'really' is fixed.

Much bitterness, frustration and anger in so many of these posts. Hey ego driven kiddies and Geek Squad members, match.com and eharmony.com can be your friends. Try it. Yall will be amazed how much having a female friend in your life makes TD.com not so important all of a sudden....

I'm sure that the fact that they played a bunch of freshmen and sophomores in the secondary, had their 2 best players cramping up, and had 10 more minutes of field time as opposed to the offense had absolutely no effect. Any fool could tell they were completely gassed. That is why we ran it at the end instead of downing it and punting with ~40 secs left. If Ridley holds on to the ball, that philosophy works.
