No. But I searched for them earlier this season. State fans didn't like that he ran off all of Polk's players. Cohen had privately said that the program had gotten lazy, and the players felt entitled. He flushed the program of a lot of those guys, and they sucked for the first two years. But look where he is now.

A very PM type of situation he took over

Well I guess what ever he's doing it's working

Pretty similar, but not as easy to recruit to. You bring up a good point about LSU and Mainieri. Mainieri's first team had zero talent.

Wish we had a good hitting coach. Too teach how to hit with
2 strikes.
2 strikes.

maybe with this recent success at State, the baseball team can get up to standard of excellence that the football program has established

And he ran off a few players, and got criticized for it

English coaches are underrated.

Yes he did. JT Wise, Jared Bogany, etc.

As soon as this game ends, the UCLA game thread needs to be anchored. I'm tired of looking at it.

When I was a student, I'll never forget sitting in the stands by third base and coming unglued at JT Wise for half-assing it around the bases. Needless to say he didn't come out to the field at the top of the next inning.
I was directly in the line of site of CPM, and I like to think my yelling had something to do with it.

Could MSU have gotten an easier draw in the bracket? Other than Oregon State, Indiana and L'ville are not spectacular

OSU and Indiana aren't pushovers

Any team that makes it to Omaha is a pretty good team
(Except us, according to the rantards)
