I just assumed it was another error on the announcer's part. Kind of like the three run homer that hit well below the the line near the left field foul pole.

Wow, Laxton doesn't even have the record for a 9 inning game. The record is 17 and 4 tied at 16, including Laxton.

I believe Laxton was a record for a freshman in that situation.
People keep bringing up Laxton, bc they know for damn sure he had more than FLA pitcher and therefore confused by the "new" record
