We're not going to fall out of the top 25 but that UF/MsST/AU stretch is going to test them. I would be impressed if we emerge 3-0.

You guys flip out if everyone doesn't get up there and say the same thing. They have to offer some variety of opinion.

I guarantee you any avid football fans knows his own team better than any national analyst does

That was Acho. Forgot his last name, but his takes have been pretty dumb and contradictory from what I've seen so far.

I didn't see the show, but I've seen him before. Yeah, he's not really not that knowledgable across CFB. For the most part, he's like Stephen A. Smith: cover up your lack of knowledge by being loud, overbearing and non-wavering in your opinions. He has no real credibility. He also likes to "stir the pot" when he doesn't have a persuasive argument to make.

Thank you for being intellectually honest. Yes, we are favored to win each of those games on August 21st, but actually going out and winning ALL of those games would be impressive. People hate O so much that they discount potential feats of the actual players because we “should” win based on betting lines. 11-1 would be fricking awesome because a bunch of 18-21 year olds went out and did the damn thing and made it happen 11 times, not because they are favored that many times “on paper.”

This is the case almost every year.

Not as tough a schedule as last year. But LSU has six difficult games. Unless Burrow gets hurt.. worst case is losing three of them. Best case is winning 5 out of 6.

Are you actually suggesting that LSU loses 6 games? Even the very average 2105 and 2016 teams would win 8 with this schedule

I'm drinking the Kool aid but it's not exactly a super hot take.

Couple of key injuries and those 4 games could go the other way.

Lol, you could LITERALLY make those same points to any team. What would happen to Bama if they lost Harris, Tua, and their best guy on defense? What about UGA losing Fromm and Swift? What about Clemson losing Etienne and Lawrence? Or what about losing that top pass rusher (the only guy on their DL that returned with production worth mentioning), and their top LB to go along with Justyn Ross at WR?

Do you know how many players LSU had lost on defense when they lost to a 9-4 TAMU team that needed help from us and the refs to win in 7 OTs?

We lost Chaisson in the first game, none of our WRs, QBs, RBs, and all but one OL had any experience going into the season, and our defense had no experienced depth outside of the LB position. We had OL constantly injured as well. We went 2-2 vs a gauntlet of UF, UGA, Miss St, and Bama. You telling me LSU playing UF, Auburn, Miss St, and Bama will be worst than it was last year when we now have experience and experienced depth at almost every position? Can I too get paid big money to do no research and spout nonsense?

I don't really care what he said, but it's crazy that people get paid serious money to do a half assed job.

none of them are credible -- because no one knows how the season will go. If a pundit could accurately predict results year after year, he'd make a fortune in Vegas. But none of them can do it.

Predictions are just guesses, and his guess is no better than yours.

Ignore all the talking heads and the chatter. Just enjoy the games.

Flipping out on any of it is stupid, but we'd have to lose 5 games to not be in the top 25. If you had him make a big money bet on that, he wouldn't take it.
