College football has become a surreal farce.

It's almost tragic that a confederacy of politicians, bureaucrats, administrators, agents, interlopers, lawyers, and half-baked dilletantes have dismantled what I truly felt was one of the greatest sporting spectacles in human history.
The version of me who traveled thousands of miles following the LSU squad from stadium to stadium in the 2000s and 2010s would have a hard time believing what a shambles the sport has become.
College football desperately needs fixed, uniform, common sense national rules.

Agree. Not even close to being as fun or meaningful. It feels like real CFB ended when Burrow and Co. trotted off the Superdome field. First the nonsense Covid seasons, now the slow deterioration of the whole sport.
Morons ruined something amazing.
