Less entertaining college baseball but an advantage for MLB scouts in looking for pure hitters. Should NCAA baseball feel good about MLB scouts liking the new bats ? Does MLB baseball do any favors for NCAA baseball when they hold the major league drafts when they do ? Firm believer that NCAA baseball should not take any pleasure in making MLB scouts' jobs' any easier.

Just remarking on recent articles about major league scouts liking the new bats because it makes their jobs easier. Not the intention of the new bat measurements, but a bi-product.

Wasn't the main purpose of the new bats for safety reasons? If that's the case the MLB reference is just a bi-product so it doesn't really matter what the relationship is between college bsaeball and MLB.

Just seems like other teams have adjusted to the new bats much better than we have. Vandy didn't seem to have any problems with their bats this weekend.

Using your logic since the new bats make it easier for the scouts to find pure hitters would they not make it harder for the scouts to find pure pitchers.
