The OP makes a great point. The choice would not be among a coin toss, a forfeit, or playing the game. It would be between a coin toss and automatically losing the SEC. Given THAT choice I'd obviously take the coin toss.

I think the real punishment is LSU beating Bama and then having to sit home at 6-1 while Bama plays for the SECCG.

I say we time every player in the 40, laser timed, and add it all up. The fastest team wins.
