Per recruiting board: he wasn't good enough to play at LSU

Huge miss on recruiting. He is NFL bound. Would be our best lineman in his class.

Yep. It amazes me how many folks on the recruiting board make comments about a kid not being good enough to play here when that kid ends up at Oklahoma or Clemson or some similar program. Not sure why our staff has taken this approach but it would seem if those programs want a guy then he could probably contribute here in some way. But hey at least we got Willie Allen.

We took Maea Teuhema, Weathersby, Valentine-Okeke, and Magee ahead of him. Too bad we can't keep guys for 4/5 years.

You can’t take every recruit. He was a 3* OL and the 28th ranked player in the state. It’s not an exact science and there are going to be misses. LSU is not alone in missing on recruiting. You think OK would have traded Weathersby at the time for Ford? You god Damon right they would have. This board would have lost its shite if Miles would have offered hi.

“ LSU never offered”

That happens.

It’s interesting that the announcers said Oklahoma State had had offensive line problems all year, but they have the 9th best offense in the nation. Go figure

His bio says he picked OU over Arkansas, Ms State and TCU. If we whiffed, so did a lot of other programs.

He's also a 3 year junior and 2nd year starter if I'm not mistaken. He's stayed healthy as well as their OL.

Our OL doesn't have 3 and 4 year starters on it and it's been injured all year. Trust me LSU has some players on the OL now and coming. You morons don't give our team time to develop before you jump all over them and say they suck. I'll bet this guy went through plenty of mistakes before he was who he is now.

If you idiots would shut your mouths long enough and enjoy what we do have instead of what we don't then we might develop some real players in front of your lying eyes.

Sorry wasn't specifically responding to you, you were correct in your statement. I'm talking to the rest of the morons who jump our team then see a team in a good year and call ours out. FRICK these clowns.

It's also interesting what rating the defenses that ok lite has faced. How would ok lite fare against sec defenses? Definitely interesting.

I know the kid very well. Was a great talent and wanted to go to LSU. He went to be evaluated at camp, and Les basically said he wasn’t LSU caliber. Makes you wonder why Les, a former offensive lineman, didn’t know shite about evaluating offensive linemen !

It is more about development. OU has had good OL's for the last 10 years. They identify athletic guys that fit their system and develop them. Something we struggle with.
Not one of their guys have a huge gut on them. Our guys looked like they just left Golden Corral.
