Go look at their schedule
Most legit teams beat them

Their stats are very impressing. I'm going have the Silver Bullets iced down come Saturday night. Should be a great Super Regional.

Boyd does have their SoS at 125. LSU at 11.

This will be one hell of a tough series make no mistake about it! The wins won't come easy, but hey we are LSU
Exactly, this will not be an easy series! Need I mention Stoney Brook!??

That's because they are legit. LSU will have to win Game 3 in order to get to Omaha.

A dominant closer named Morrison against LSU. I've seen this movie before.

We just need to make it to Omaha...I now only live three hours away and have always wanted to go.

They were like 50-5 5 or 6 years ago and got a national seed, but I believe one of the NC South Carolina teams went in there and swept them. I may have a couple of facts wrong, but it was something like that.
EDIT: Looked it up. Was the '10 team. Was 55-8 going into the Super Regional and were swept by SC 4-3 and 10-9.

Don't think BC is legit
You are wrong then. BC has two damn good starting pitchers that will be 1st round draft picks. They fall off after those two but as LSU fans are well aware if you have 2 stud pitchers you can make some serious noise come regional and CWS time!

Meh.
Consider the level of competition they played. That helps with the sweet stats.
They played all of 24 games against top 100 RPI team. They went 13 and 11 in those games. 13-11!
They went 31-4 against 100 or worse teams. 11-1 against sub-200 teams.
Basically, they loaded up.
LSU, in comparison, played 36 top 100 teams and went 21-15.
LSU only played 24 games against 100 or worse teams and went 21-3. 5-0 against sub-200.
Completely different schedules.
To be honest, I'm not even sure how CC's schedule is ranked 27th.

Looks like they have a really good 1-6 in their lineup and have a lot of power in there too. How big is their ballpark compared to LSU? I'd be interested to see how big the ballparks were on their HRs. LSU doesn't have the biggest and even a team like Rice who wasn't known for power this year whacked a few HRs this regional.
Who gives a shite what schedule they played? None of that matters in the postseason play it's whoever is hot and who's not. They're good enough to beat LSU in their hosted super regional.

They tried to block off ticket sales to the public to keep our fans out of the stadium. We still had a home field advantage lol

They went on the road and won their regional. I don't care too much about the level of competition they played during the regular season.

That's not that embarrassing considering that South Carolina was the national champion that year.

You don't reach the supers without being "legit". imo

At the risk of catching downvotes, did Stony Brook beat LSU in the regional or the supers? Can't remember.

I knew nothing about them until now, got excited when I heard a no-name team was coming in, then realized it's not going to be a cakewalk.
You probably thought the same thing about Stony Brook

Yes I did. That's why I posted in another thread that the idea of saving Poche till game 3 if we win game 1 is horrible.
