SEC coach on the hot seat: Ed Orgeron, LSU
This may be unfair to Orgeron, considering he went
9-4 in his first full season as coach last year. But the Tigers once again finished in the middle of the SEC West, suffered an incomprehensible, inexcusable home loss to Troy and limped out of the 2017 season in defeat against Notre Dame. In the end, he’ll be judged on whether he beats Saban and Bama in Tiger Stadium. If he doesn’t, he'll have the spotlight turned on him.

SEC Coaches not named Sabama will be on the hot seat every season. That's the landscape. Its a high-priced business with super high stakes.

Bama will have nothing to do with a spotlight on O unless he wins. It's loses to Miami, Auburn, State, UGA, or A&M that will determine if he gets the can or not. Bama won't, and shouldn't, be the only factor.

What made you want to post this? It has been discussed ad nauseum for the past month. September 2 can't get here fast enough.
