i think 40/60 pass/run ratio at best.

Yea cuz this has worked out great the last few years. I'm for what ever works of course...but a vertical passing game helps the run more than anything.

A lot of "runs" in Canada's offense is the WR sweep play, which yes is a run, but in a way is almost like a screen play making the other team defend the WR o nthe edge basically. Quadree Henderson for Pitt had 60 carries last year from that play. He only had 26 receptions.

Then again, the shovel pass play to the F-back is basically a run play, but counts as a pass play.

In all, I dont give a frick what our ratio really is, just puts points on the board and move the football. If that ratio was 70/30 run/pass and we put up 42 points a game I'd take it.

OL is going to kill this season as far as this team reaching its full potential.

Okay two things:

1) can we put this our OL sucks myth to rest. Our OL doesn't suck. Our DEPTH at OL is very weak, but our starting crew is full of upper classmen and is a strong unit. Therefore, INJURIES to the OL would prevent this team from reaching its potential this season.

2) if our OL sucks then they wouldn't prevent us from reaching our potential our potential would by definition be lower because our OL helps define what our potential is. So please if you are going to post something baseless and ignorant at least voice it correctly.

Great post. But that cocksucker is too fricking stupid to comprehend and/or too intellectually dishonest to acknowledge. Perhaps both.

Problem with LSU's offense under Miles wasn't necessarily the run/pass ratio as much as it was predictable by down and distance, personnel, and formation.
