I only lived down there when I went to school there. But you'd think I would have at least heard of putting potato salad in gumbo.

I had some tonight at Cajun Steamer in Franklin, TN. Of course, without the tater salad. I can't imagine any better than what I had tonight, no matter where it came from.

I'm shocked. Shocked.

So he no longer relishes the crayfish/ tomato concoction he touted back in 2017. Winning has a way of drumming common sense into a man.

Okra and potato salad are trash and belong nowhere near a gumbo.

I’ve never really eaten a gumbo I didn’t like...there are just a lot of different kinds.

I grew up in New Orleans in the 70’s eating seafood gumbo that had the traditional dark roux base, with shrimp, oysters, okra, rice, and a half of a blue crab sitting on top. my Favorite was at Brunings.
