Where's the second loss on this schedule that you think would be acceptable?

Who was responsible for the 2018 class?
2017 could be shared by Miles and Ed, as he was RC from Mar '16, and finished the 2016 season as HC.

Delusional fan base comparing O to Saban.
What a joke.
What a joke.

EdO was named recruiting coordinator at LSU in the spring of '16 so, he wasn't RC for even a whole year.

So Miles was never really responsible for recruiting, it was 100% on his RC...

Orgeron gutted the OL because he knew it was the first place that needed a huge change. He gutted it and has tried to change it since. It may not happen next year but the year after that our OL will be fixed. If some guys develop fast it could be as soon as next year.
Sounds and looks familiar to his other ventures into offensive meddling.

Listen man, if you don't understand the difference between progress and acceptability, there's nothing anyone can say to help you.

Don't give up man, just answer the question. It's a simple question.

Glad my downvote brought em to an even hundred!

Im confused. We went 9-3, which is basically what the program has been at since saban’s recruits left the program. How is O crushing it for going 9-3 when miles was blasted for that same record. Expectations have really dropped around here
You're not confused...everyone else is.
Our program is basically in the exact same spot that it has been since 2012.

You keep changing the question
But to answer your question it's hard to say precisely which losses are "acceptable" at the present time
I'm guessing Les had only one "acceptable year?

So how are you definitely willing to say today that 10-2 is progress if you don't even know what the other loss is to?

It's objectively progress.
Are you really struggling with simple definitions.

It's not necessarily objectively progress because there's strength of schedule to consider.
You don't even know who the other loss is to and how bad the loss is but you're saying today that it's progress no matter what.

quote:WTF are on about? I just said they share the #7 ranked class of 2017., imo.
So Miles was never really responsible for recruiting, it was 100% on his RC...
Do you really think Miles was recruiting the LSU (NSD) 2018 class after termination early in the 2016 season?
How many visits and camps did Miles oversee in 2017 leading up to 2018 NSD?

Your reading comp sucks.
It has nothing to do with 18
Les Miles was 100% responsible for the 2015 class.

That's not your expectation?
It is not.
LSU has always had talent, crushed recruiting and gotten a TON of hype during the off-season.
Then we go 8-4 or 9-3 the next year, then repeat the above the very next off season.
Until This current staff breaks that cycle, I have no reason to expect anything other than an average season from what should be an elite level program.
