He’s one big win away from regaining it.

He bleeds purple and gold. He will always have a chip on his shoulder. Those guys are throwing up at practice this week.. promise.

This year gives me a 2017 vibe. It will probably be rocky at first but hopefully this team can gel together as the season goes along.

I was a very loud critic of O on here and in donor circles. He won me over in the last two years. He will do what is necessary to right the ship. He may win another title, he may not. But, he’s going to make another run or two before his time at LSU is over.

If he beats Florida all is forgiven.

I'm not calling for anyone's head. But Coach O could have been a little less enthusiastic about the defense and Brennan. I'm not saying he should bad mouth them, but maybe a more realistic 'needs more work but unfortunately we don't have any more time' type statement would have prepared us for what we were going to witness.

I would honestly love to hear what people in “donor circles” think. He is obviously a great recruiter, plays well to the fan base and deserves every bit of credit for last season. But, he has had his share of misses as well. I think there is still a sense that he is throwing darts at the board with some of his coaching hires.

The coaching staff needs to be throwing up! Brennan had some problems and may end up not being the solution at QB but that was the worst defensive effort I can remember LSU having in a long time

he absolutely must get a real offensive coordinator who's capable of developing a quarterback or he could very well end up being our Chizik

This! The time has come to put his personal loyalties aside and do what's best for the program, because if he doesn't, he will regret it. Auburn canned Chizik two years after he won them a NC. It doesn't take much to go from hero to zero in the CFB coaching world.

Well he was the one that said he the best Defense he's ever had, only two give up the SEC passing yards ever.

There was a strong movement after the Troy game to fire him. There was a lot of money withheld and a lot of pledges tabled.

I think most donors I know are like me...pleasantly surprised, if not mind blown.

I think it’d take two years of losing without improvements for him to be back where he was after Troy.

He just fielded arguably the best team ever to play college football. He deserves respect and patience.
