You’ve got to feel pretty good about where this thing is headed.

Winning 10 games, winning a NY6 bowl game, finishing top 5 in recruiting (maybe higher).

On top of all of that he’s recruiting all of these juniors to come back. If you notice, they’ve all put out highlight videos with their decision to return that I’m sure are produced by LSU.

Now - he needs to hang on to Raymond and bring in a young co-OC that can step into that role when Ensminger retires/moves to an analyst position.

I'm still basting in the afterglow of a 10 win season and a NY6 bowl game victory. There are improvements still to make and next year is gonna be a big year for the O regime. But, for now, I'm still enjoying this past season.

Last year at this time of coach O was mentioned, there were 100 downvotes before I even clicked on the thread

He’s turning LSU back into a college football program in lieu of a NFL talent factory.

Exactly - were building depth in both lines and not signing every four star receiver we can take to bump our recruiting rankings.

He recognized you win inside out in this league.

Good post but more descriptive, non-generic title would be nice.

I can't be optimistic until this team scores a single point against Alabama.

Sure you can. If I can be complimentary and give credit, anyone can do it. There are obviously some improvements that need to be made. It wasn't a perfect season by any means, but there was progress and we just need to see some more progress next season.

This regime can't score any points against the team they have to beat to compete for championships. They are non competitive. Their offensive coaching is not equipped to do it. How many times do you need to see it?

There are 11 other games on the schedule. To say you can't be optimistic about the entirety of next season because of one game is a little silly to me. Let's at least see how they look next September before saying things like that.

Those particular improvements don't seem to have been made yet.

Well, I'm not excited If I know there is no chance to compete for a championship.

A lot of people said that at this time last year as well. I know because I was one of them. But, here we are with a better season and ranked number 6 in the final poll.

I agree they need some creativity to beat Bama. I’m not sure Ensminger can do it alone but I’m willing to give him another year considering the revolving door at OL, average rbs and a qb who got here in August.
