Closer to the Field or Not

Most of you that went to the game say that you were closer to the field at the Old Alex Box. Hawthorne said last night that fans are closer to the field at the New Alex Box.

I tend to believe you guys.

Hawthorne also said there was less room to run down foul balls at the New Alex Box then the Old..........T or F?

Rollins and Ben Mc Donald said there was MORE room to run down foul balls in the new park....go figure.

Well, if Hawthorne said it, then it HAS to be true, because Jim checks his info twice before he speaks about it.

I think there's less room for foul balls once you get past 1st and 3rd base.

At least from the Bullpen on. There used to be enough wall space for an ad between the foul pole and the bleachers. Now there's about 5 feet.
