Close losses and the lack of lefties

Following the Auburn losses, both this year and last year, I have noticed that in these extraordinarily close games Auburn was able to use left-handed batting and right handed pitching to their advantage. LSU on the other hand could not use left handed batting or left handed pitching in key situations. Every key pitcher and hitter we have are righties. I think that losing close games over the last two years has a lot to do with the lack of key lefties throughout the lineup and for use in matchup situations.
