They are managing the game the right way for a change. This is enjoyable if you know the game. Obviously you and many others on here do not. You’re probably one of the same people comparing the wins to previous coach and saying nothing has changed.

Not sure if this was addressed in a previous thread, but can anyone explain why we started the last drive of first half with two Guice carries to run a minute off the clock down to 30 seconds,
With 2 minutes to go in the half, LSU was up 17-3, a comfortable lead.
Tennessee scored FAST to cut it to 17-10. They would recieve the opening kickoff. They were out of TO's in the first half.
Bad clock management would allow Tennessee to get another possession, possibly score, and start the 2nd half with the chance to take the opening kickoff and drive for the lead.

1st play was an incomplete pass to Charles anyways so OP doesn’t even matter. 2nd play was a run to get the clock moving to make sure if we didn’t convert 3rd down then UT was left with no to little time left for their possession. Overall excellent clock management all game.

I thought they should have put the pedal to the medal and go for a touchdown. Screen pass was really the only play they had working.
Keep in mind that having the lead was Paramount going into halftime. The weather was about to take a turn for the worse. As it turns out, we didn't need any points in the second half.

It wasn't poor clock management as I am sure a lot of people will believe.
Right or wrong it was a decision to not give Tenn. another chance in the half. In case you didn't notice LSU offense was horrid the first half. Luckily due to Tenn. gifting LSU two scores we had the lead.
Right or wrong it was a choice to lessen our chances of scoring to ensure Tenn. had no time to do anything again that half.
