Their defense schemed it as best they could with the talent they had. By the second half they were out of schlitz.

Agree, early field position made LSU rethink a couple of possessions. But I thought Clemson played about as good as they could. They simply did not have the horses to match up.

Curious. No mention of LSU’s defense making their very talented sophomore QB look like a ... befuddled sophomoric QB with 13 forced overthrows and a pick.

LSU should of scored another TD instead of kneeling down.

That would have given Clemson something else to cry about.

People on here won't realize how much LSU dominated Clemson. They could have scored at least two more tds but didn't.

It’s hard for me to grasp that LSU (Chase) dropped a TD, missed a FG, and knelt at the end and still won by 17 in the NC game. It was almost a humiliation for Clemson.

We’re lucky that LB got that targeting call. They were wrecking us with him in the game and we really didn’t momentum until after that. Once we got momentum, nothing was going to stop us.

We drove the whole field and threw a TD on that MLB pressure on the very play he hit Burrow. That dude looked like a wrecking ball because their scheme was to overwhelm A gaps when we went to bunch formation. This happened against A&M too on a possession where we had to punt against A&M. Good job Venebles watching film but I wouldn’t say that MLB was doing anything other than running full speed unblocked up the middle.

LSU was a really really hot team all year long.

LSU was a better team and Clemson was not winning that game without some huge breaks.

LSU beat the heck out of you and your hip-hopping phony Dabo!

Dabo was highly congratulatory to LSU in conceding defeat. Dabo told O he was happy for him when they met in the field.

Dabo is corny with how he does some of his press conferences or how he motivates his team but he was all class at the championship.

Some people just want to be combative no matter what. If Clemson came out and said we were outclassed and beaten bad, some would complain that they did not say they were prison raped.

I’m not sure he was making excuses for the world, but sending a message to his team that they can work harder and get better. They have a lot of pride as a program—have established themselves as a top 2 program for sure, and an argument could be made they have slightly surpassed Bama. They’d won 2 of the last 3 NCs going into that game. Whats he supposed to say, “No matter what we would have done, no matter how hard we worked, no matter if we played mistake-free football, we simply had no chance against a much superior team.” What in the world would he say that for? He’s got to get those guys back busting their arse to try to get back to the top of the mountain. But if his message is “What’s the point?”

Who gives a shite about all this? He knows. We know. Everybody who watched college football knows. Quit being so goddamn insecure. shite.

I’m not being insecure
You quoted the wrong person by accident
I was saying some people would bitch no matter what he said. Anything short of saying his team was prison raped wasn’t enough for some people.

You put someone’s quote on a reply to me by accident. It’s all good though.

I said this

Yes, LSU was hot as they were hot all year. In other words, they were better than every team they played with the best team/football players. They made your red zone offense suck. Give credit where it's due. Nobody was beating this football team.
