Penrod I understand your points but i disagree with 2 of them:

1. Gambling is good! Greed is good! Just kidding, but the world is full of different characters with lots of bad habits Drink too much, drugs, women, gambling...terrible point to any argument especially on this site

2. Gambling IS EXACTLY about predicting the score. Gambling is about using odds to your advantage. Getting a slight advantage over the "house"

My UNDER bet is simply one of I think it has to be a perfect storm of offense and simply very little defense on either side to reach a 70 point total I am counting on NO defensive or special team TDs and some long drives that end in FGs

I don't think either team gets 12 possessions in the game and that is 24 with 10 of those needing to be TDs. Do the math and you get 6-7 punts, halftime end of game and maybe some FGs mixed in....it is just a REALLY TOUGH number ot get to in a HUGE pressure packed game.

But leave us degenerates to our vices!!!

LSU 1st Half -3.5
1st Under UNDER 35
Full GAME UNDER 69.5
Burrow Prop UNDER 393 Yards

Good luck!!!

Geaux Gutsy-

Why do you hope I am wrong? Because we win 38-21??? and we win the 1st half

Confused!!!

We both can win easily...for LSU to win, the score doesn't have to be 45-42

Cmon kid!!! LSU D steps up and causes all sorts of problems for TL

Oh yeah Burrow throws for 355 yards...is that NOW a shitty game for LSU fans?

The recency bias on here is off the charts!!! 400+ yards and 7 TDs is stupid, not normal!!!

The % of money that is on LSU with the line holding firm does concern me, but I just don’t see it. Hard for me to see under 69.5 as well.

I think Clemsons defense gets a little too much credit. They have only been truly tested once, in a game that they were outplayed and out schemed in and quite frankly were lucky to win. OSU could have boat raced them in the first half. LSU won’t make the same mistakes. LSU will be able to score in this game like they have against every other team on the schedule.
As for Clemson’s approach, ball control and playing keep away is fine and dandy. But when it’s 21-3 with seven minutes left in the first quarter, that shite goes straight out the window. You compared this game to our game against UGA and it probably is the best comparison. The difference between Georgia and Clemson is that Clemson won’t squander the few opportunities early that Georgia misfired on. They’re gonna be able to score some points which will only drive the overall score up. LSU will likely have to keep their starters in for the fourth quarter in this one and may even need to keep scoring to keep a comfortable lead late in the game. For Clemson to win, or even cover, they’ll have to keep pace with LSU on offense and I don’t think they can. I don’t think anybody can.
In the end, LSU still wins by double digits and it goes over 70. Your only hope for the under is if LSU’s defense shows out, keeps Clemson at bay, and we don’t have to do much offensively late in the game. Personally, I’m staying away from the o/u and I got LSU as a pickem bet two weeks ago. But if I was betting today, I’d take em at -6.

The ML has slowly but ever so surely crept upward for Clemson. My William Hill app had it at +175 on the morning of DEC. 29th. It's currently at +190 and somehow, I don't think that it'll reach +200 but maybe +195 before some late $$$ brings it back down.

Poison Not directed at me, but I have some LSU to win it all at 9-1, and 7-1 back in September Pre season you could have gotten 18-1 and 15-1

Things really changed after the Texas game Burrow Heisman odds dropped to nothing and LSU dropped quite a bit too

But Bama was still Bama (lol) in September

LSU will almost surely score 40+

Therefore Clemson will coast to 30-35 points. Should have taken the over.

I love the guys on here with rage and anger in their veins!! Ya'll are special folks!

I certainly understand the viewpoint of this is going to be a total shootout...its' quite possible. But I am going with 1 of these 2 defenses steps up, whether in the red zone or with a couple turnovers or a couple missed FGs.

Comparing OU vs Clemson is simply ludicrous logic. OU had one of the worst defenses of any playoff team ever!!

Ill be here late Monday night to see where we are. My plays(4) are posted on here and I haven't read anything to really sway me off any of these bets.

Note: If this total dips to 67 or so on Monday like I think it will, I will like my side even more.

Keep an eye out for news on Niles Pinckney, the Clemson DL

Again, just a depth issue and key piece if he isn't able to go. As for my under, I would prefer he plays, but you cant take Defensive guys off the field vs LSU and withstand the onslaught coming!

We are going to be in Vegas for the game. Can you recommend good sportsbooks on the Strip and do you recommend reservations? Or are we already too late for that? Thanks!

We called around several and they are all saying booked solid for reservations. Going to see what we can find for walk-ins. Treasure Island did say they are doing first come first serve. We have never been to a sportsbook in Vegas before so I’m not sure if they allow standing? I also tried Beer Park on top of Paris but they said walk ins only. I don’t care if I stand! I usually stand during the whole game anyway lol

Also someone on another thread recommended the sportsbook at Cosmopolitan but we haven’t had a chance to check it out. Just got here a few hours ago!
