theREALDV, good post. I agree with you that the right two teams are in the title game. It's frustrating to watch Clemson get to coast through the regular season, but there's no denying that once they hit the big stage in the playoffs the last few years, they have looked absolutely legit and have handled their business.

Clemson has the offensive weapons to give our defense some serious problems. I am not sure that this year's version of Clemson's defense will be properly equipped to stop the LSU offense, though. It's a good defense, for sure, but it seems that its weaknesses line up perfectly with the strengths of the LSU offense. In short, unless Venables comes up with something completely different than what he's put on film all season, there's no stopping Burrow and this LSU offense.

I predict a good back-and-forth game through the first three quarters and possibly even a lead for Clemson at halftime, but I think LSU ultimately puts this away in the late third quarter and on into the fourth to win by two scores.
