Your kids hear worse at school and on TV. Don't be so soft. If you don't like hearing it don't go. No one is forcing you to go. It's like being a vegan and going to steak, then complaining because you see steak on the table. Get over yourself.

Clemson stole LSU's "Death Valley", stole many other LSU things and I view them as the Joe Biden of the NCAA.

Its more like ordering a vegan option at a restaurant and being served a steak. There are no age restrictions on attending football games meaning that kids being there is not only allowed but expected. The only difference I guess is that there are plenty of Yelp reviews saying that this restaurant serves steak to vegans so it shouldn't surprise anyone when it happens.
I have taken my young kids to a game or 2 (but always a day game) and I always talk to them before hand about how they will hear and see things they normally don't and that they are not to repeat anything that they witness in the stadium. BUT to act like people are bringing their kids to a roman orgy is ridiculous.
I am aware that college students will never think of anyone other than themselves and therefore have no expectations of them dropping the STTDB lyrics but it would be for the betterment of the gameday experience if they would.
And for the record, my 6 and 3 year olds don't hear anything worse than STTDB at school or on TV.
I also love the "if you don't like, don't go" mentality from the people paying the least for their seats (students). If the paying crowd did decide to stop attending because of the vulgarity then the program would suffer. So by your logic, Students chanting vulgarities is more important than having a program that competes for Nattys. Lucky for you selfish pricks (all 18-22 year olds are) the people of this state love their football program more than they dislike the nonsense yall spew so you can say whatever you like and nothing will come of it. One day you will be "old" and have kids and say "I really wish they'd tone down the language a bit so we all could enjoy this environment together."

Thats a battle you cant win (with the students), but the trailer park fans and non-lsu grads and alumni need to chill. They are the ones that get our privileges taken away. they only do it so they can go home and jerk it to an oldrow video

You’re all whining about intoxicated college students being vulgar at a football game.
If you require a more tame environment, consider attending Nicholls games instead.

I don't want a more tame environment but I would like the best environment we could possibly have. Its sad because the 2007 version of neck with the entire stadium into it was the best environment. Now Neck has been banned and while we still have a top notch environment, it could be ever so slightly better.
At this point I honestly wish the whole STTDB and Neck thing would go the way of the dodo bird. Its been over a decade since the song has been allowed at sporting events and instead of being creative and coming up with something new, the students and fans both repeatedly beat this dead horse.

Got to admit I thought it was funny the first time I saw a YouTube video of LSU fans doing the chant. I even showed it to other people bragging about how crazy LSU fans and the atmosphere at an LSU football game was. But from this forum I’ve seen what sort of trashy people are obsessed with it and realized they and STTDB are not something I want to be associated with.

"We need something more appropriate, that is just disgusting and we don't want to associate with that neck song"
Also
"Omg did you guys see cardi b, lil Wayne, and boosie gave lsu a shout out in their songs? So great and wholesome!"

Having famous people that recruits like spread your brand is by no means equivalent to having drunk white kids yelling profanities in unison at a football game.
I don't expect the students to stop cursing but I am disappointed that they refuse to come up with anything new and creative.

Makes total sense. TD use to be full of people in college or close to their college days. Now it's not.

Yeah it was funny in 2011 or whenever it started but a decade later its sad and pathetic. How tf have these kids not come up with ANYTHING new?

Went to an away game and saw a group of 4 walking around in tshirts with STTDB written across the front. My immediate thought was they all vape and watch MTV's Ridiculousness at least 3 times a week.
