Their refusal to see anything else other than that JJ is the greatest and stay the hell out of the threads that some of us just want to vent in made many frustrated.

I'm on this board pretty regularly, and there are probably 2-3 people who defend JJ on a regular basis, and none of them act like he's a savior. Most of them are typically responding to people who criticize every little thing JJ does.
"JJ shrugged his shoulders - thug!"
"JJ frowned - whiner!"
"JJ told the media something about playing ok. Idiot."

It was just this constant barrage of negativity that caused me, and some others, to fight back. Then, it blows up into these huge arguments pitting one player against the other and whether consciously or not, people are "defending" their side, and then a lot of posters run with that and say, "See he's a [insert player here] guy!" Those arguments are generally pointless and stupid, with either side wanting to be right more than wanting to have an actual coherent discussion and typically gets to name calling and other BS.

All many kept thinking was "when is this time bomb gonna go off?" Well it went off in the most important game of all, and some still are trying to defend what went down.

And many on the other side kept thinking the bomb could go off for Lee, and it did, in Tuscaloosa.

The reality is, that is one hellacious defense that made both of our subpar QBs melt in a matter of seconds. In the first match, JJ fortunately ran the option just competently enough for us to sustain some ball-control, keep field position and win. In the second game, he couldn't even do that right. Not to mention the out and out terrible game plan and playcalling.

JJ's final two games were likely the two worst of his career. I'm happy he's done. Lee's final game with significant time ended much like his career started. I'm happy he's leaving as well.

Realistically, both were terribly handicapped players with a litany of flaws.

we started more and more throwing on first after the Oregon game. Not a shite ton, but still much more than under JJ.

I'll also say this, neither guy had the resume to go into the season as the unquestioned starter. Had Les had a true, honest competition I'm fairly certain Mett wins that, JL 2nd, and JJ third because he sucks.

Well, that's one thing I'm not sure we can blame JJ for. If they dont' call plays to throw it on first, I mean.

I love when people point out their own altruism.

It makes it seem so much more sincere.

I addressed your bs assertions, and now all you can do is try to get back to mocking me.

Nice, and expected.
