All for ya buddy... Honestly they should have been upfront about how they would have handled this due to the possibility. Based on what they did last year a reasonable person would anticipate they would do the same thing this year.

Hold out on a settlement until after the Tigers ride and win a Natty this year. Your claim will have a much higher value.

Well the TAF/Tradition Fund charges are essentially PSLs. If you don’t pay the PSL you lose the rights to the tickets. Doesn’t really matter why you didn’t pay the PSL.
Exactly. If you don't deliver on your consideration for the contract (paying the annual fees), you don't get the benefit of the other party's consideration (guaranteeing your same seats each year). This is basic rules of life stuff here.

Yes but isn’t this pretty normal? Like if you asked for a refund for anything else they would do this. Why not just sell them? You will make your money back and some.
Basically OP feels entitled to benefits he promised to pay for but now doesn't want to pay for anymore for no viable reason but his own not wanting to pay for it anymore.

When tickets were on sale, there were several people warning fans that LSU was going to implement some kind of COVID restrictions right before the season started ( after all tickets were sold).
The renewal form has a clause that says basically this same thing. "We may add some COVID restrictions, and you agree to abide by them." OP just didn't read it or thought it didn't apply to him.

If you didn't want them at all, what made you think a whole bunch of others would want to pay above face value for them?

This makes no sense. It is your choice not to take the test and not attend the game, and no one is trying to take that choice away from you. You were simply asked, "Why?" (which you obviously don't have to explain if you don't want to). But no one is trying to take away your freedom of choice regarding your body.

If anything, you sound like that "whiny little girl" (whose choice about her body is actually threatened, unlike yours).

Your annual donation holds your place in line. Your tix price gets your butt in the seat. You want your donation returned, you lose your place in line. If you're not going to the games for 2021, you can have you tix price back.

Really not that unreasonable. Is this the hill you're going to die on?

Pretty normal for any non-bigtime conference matchup, if you've ever tried to sell one recently pre-COVID.

We've had tickets for decades and live out of state, so we don't get to every game. Since about 2014 it's been virtually impossible to dump any tickets except Bama, Auburn, Florida, TAMU, and Ole Miss (only half of whom are played in BR any given season). Can't even give tickets away for non-conference games or lousy conference opponents.

COVID only flooded the market with people like yourself who don't normally sell their spots and made it even worse.

I'm sorry you haven't been paying attention for the past decade and just realized this is the economics of college football now, but it doesn't entitle you to legal action.

I’m fully vaccinated and wear a mask in most public places but I could definitely see LSU lose a lawsuit over this. Handled extremely bush league for such a powerful institution

Seems pretty fair….they either buy the tickets they said they would or they lose their reserved ability to get them in the future. If you dont pay the tradition fee, you shouldnt get to keep the rights to those seats

That's not a legal cause of action.
