No inside knowledge, but one could suppose the guys in the portal.
Wish guys wouldn't do that but there is a lot of pressure on them at that point in time.

This is the part of college athletics I hate. Every player is a free agent looking for the best deal and coaches have to constantly recruit their own players. Good for the players, I know, but I hate it.

It’s not always “best deal” scenario. There’s lots of factors. Playing time, coaches, fresh start. Everyone thinks just because a player leaves lsu it’s about money or processed.

I don’t think anyone is tampering with a guy that walked 16 in 9 innings. If we had like a bear jones in the portal you could scream tampering but it’s our unproductive guys and disappointments so far.

You know the coaches have been doing the same forever, right? Pretty much all of the LSU coaches (not just baseball) made their way to LSU by getting a better deal and leaving their players behind.

Kling was the most over hyped below average player I've seen come through LSU.
