Greatest player I ever had to opportunity to watch play in college basketball. I marveled during his freshmen year. Lots of adversity to overcome and dedication to his craft made it that much greater in my eyes at the time.

Most people tend to overlook or ignore the fact that's Jackson's full potential was cut short by illness. That illness was getting worse even before he left LSU and was the driving motivator for his early departure.

Anyone have any idea if he still has a relationship with Dale Brown? I would be interested to see if those two are still close.
