If we’re going to win it, he will likely play a role on the field. I’m glad he’s a tiger.

Christian Little seems like a really good teammate and from everyone I've heard that knows him personally from up here, a really good kid.
He's been terrible, we all know that. But he really seems like a good teammate. After every HR or great play, he's one of the first guys giving congrats. With a massive genuine looking smile on his face.
If you would've told me a few weeks ago I'd be taking up for Little I would've laughed at you. But credit that type of engagement during a potentially soul crushing year for him. At one point he looked like a damn good prospect.

It's a big ballpark, and those won't be SEC umpires at the plate.
If he isn't getting squeezed at the plate into throwing an absolute meatball, and pitches to contact and allows the fielders to make plays, he could be effective. Morgan and Thompson can get to a lot of balls in the infield, and our outfielders generally can cover the outfield.
I'm not saying he would dominate, but he's got the arm to suck up a lot of innings in an 8-6 type of ballgame. As for all his walks- again, he's not going to see an SEC strike zone there. I think they will call it loose, and make the batters swing. I believe if he gets a couple strikes called on the edges, and some guys make good contact... for a routine fly ball, his mind would ease up and he'd throw a good game.

I’m not giving up on a little. Dude has been all Tigers all the time since he got here. Major fricking props.
